The Wellington Apartments is a boutique eight-unit redevelopment project located in the heart of Ghent’s Historic District. Transforming this 100-year-old building into modern apartments while preserving its original character has been a rewarding challenge. The process required close collaboration between our development team, MEP engineers, historic tax credit consultants, and local design professionals to thoughtfully balance historic preservation with modern building codes and contemporary living standards.

The finished product features six spacious, luxury three-bedroom apartments and two well-appointed one-bedroom units. Each apartment offers modern kitchens with dishwashers, in-unit washer and dryer setups, and contemporary finishes throughout. Residents enjoy convenient amenities including dedicated parking, secure bike storage, a fully equipped on-site gym, and beautifully restored common areas. With a combination of timeless historic details, all-new infrastructure, and high-end interiors, Wellington Apartments delivers a unique blend of classic charm and modern comfort in one of Norfolk’s most desirable neighborhoods.
